good news:
1) i win $12.30 in mahjong today playing at 10-20 cents stakes. thats a lot. even if i paid everybody $3.20 for the time that i zha hu, I still got profit! and first time in my life i game forgetting that i have no passport. something not right with me today.

2) i solved the n=4 coin puzzle in 5 moves.

bad news:

SMO open sucked. i did like 8 and got at least 1 wrong. and my tikaming was way off lol. but it was better than SMO Senior. So i conclude I will qualify for second round :D

I spent the whole of yesterday afternoon thinking. -.- Thinking of how to improve on the aesthetics of my cupboard and bookshelf. And I came up with an idea, to make a door out of wood! But I couldnt find a suitable piece ofwood from the storeroom. So I thought of a rolling shutter kind of thing. Went to measure all the dimensions, made a nice little scale model of a rolling shutter design, then I realised, where in the world am I going to get material to build this??

In the end I called my mum and asked her to bringback some pieces of scrap cardboard from her office lol. And then she went to chop for me to the correct size. Now my bookshelf is nicely covered yay

about 3 main issues

1) global warming reduce crop yield. ppl claim that climate change and whatnot will kill us from lack of food. like rice crops unable to grow due to the hotter weather/less rain and blah. then we think how to prevent this from happening. so we come up with a solution not to waste food! isn't it absolutely dumb?!? how does not wasting food help us to produce MORE food in the future?

now this is a bit like producing electricity, when the power station burns the coal/oil/natural gas to generate electricity, this electricity is already created. So either 1) we use it, OR 2) we let it drain.

NOTE: THERE IS NO OPTION 3 TO RECONVERT THIS ELECTRICITY FOR STORAGE

so same goes for rice. Rice that is harvest today cannot be stored for 50 years down the road. So what's with the fallacy?

2) I have no idea why my library of 1150 songs is stored in my com, desktop, AND handphone!! 5+ GB space taken up on all of those, what for?

3) SMO was horrible. this year's paper was difficult. part of the alternate year cycle. but now i can see a steady declining trend in my SMO results since P6 :O looks like im not going to qualify for 2nd round again this year...zzz

On a side note...Mahjong is fun! I think the past week we've been looking for someone to host our mahjong sessions, but seems like nobody's house is available (including mine xD). Hence I present my mum's solution:

this is the first step towards a new record! i lost my erm dunno how many million months of posts combo in august. so sad. actually i cheated. in june. but not much difference it just adds two months.

wrap up for the school year: CAP remained the same. School began to get a little boring so it's good that the hols are here! but screw OBS waste my time waste my money buying things. and 5 days sia.

today: what have i done i opened up my computer!!! IT'S DAMN HOLY ON THE INSIDE. shall post some pics when i found out how to do so :P but I FEELL HOLY TOO bcos i managed to disassemble my entire laptop! I followed the step by step instructions on HP website, and with just the normal screwdriver setup my com came apart! so fun i want to do it again! now the next step for me after opening things up is to discover whats wrong with them. like my radio boo :(. I tried fixing it and I failed badly cos i dunno what the heck was wrong. and worse i even broke off two wires. now the entire mess is lying on one of those shelves.

currently: opened up my mum's calc which she asked me to fix. it's a veyr simple setup inside nothing much to modfiy. and theres this HOLY PLASTIC which actually makes the whole world of difference between white, black, and invisible display! and it looks just like a normal plastic! some AMAZING piece of engineering by the japanese.

wow it's august lol do I still have my month combo? I dunno!
i failed my 2.4 last friday. i finished about 90 seconds after the passing time, 115th position. thats bad. wayne got 119 and almost half a minute behidn me. thats also bad.

6GE05 will have 2 chalets this year! tentatively on sept 1 and sometime in dec hols. but I'm a little skeptical about the teacher's day chalet, cos one week hol are pefect timing for teachers to give extra hw. oh and theres no 08/08 programme for this year amazingly......maybe because of horrible cel*** n* who chases us all out of rosyth school for NO APPARENT REASON. instead, tg and daniel will have some random thing on the 09/08 which means i'll likely be erm not attending the WCG cum national day outing. they going to see fireworks at marina seh, after going to the WCG at suntec. not bad.

i m feeling emo. i thot of random ppl like those in my pri school. and i realise i have been keeping in touch with rosyth ppl but not the anderson ppl. thats bad. like i havent seen any 2.7 ppl since, well, primary 2. the last person i heard from was like benedict and that was in p5. sianzzz

so cool the sky looks exactly like what it looks like in my dream the other day. its like afternoon but the sky is all dark. yep exactly like now. its going to rain heavily. no sun, dark clouds, no lightning. then supposedly what happens in my dream is, some random 50m high tsunami invades singapore and i died. hahahah yes thats what happened. some gay wave of water just comes and sucks out all the air and all the pressure until i died. and when i died i managed to wake up 2 minutes before my alarm rang lolololololololololololololololoool.
